The Professional Football Association of England and Wales (PFA) has named Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah the best player of the season.
It should be recalled that Salah shared first place in the list of top scorers along with Tottenham forward Harry Kane (23 goals), also became the league’s top assist (13 assists) and first in goal+passes system (23+13=36).
It should be noted that the APL season’s All-League team according to the PFA is as follows:
Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker (Liverpool).
Defenders: Joao Cancelou (Manchester City), Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool), Antonio Rüdiger (Chelsea), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool).
Midfielders: Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City), Thiago Alcantara (Liverpool), Bernardo Silva (Manchester City).
Attackers: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United), Sadio Mane (Liverpool).
